Former NDC Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyidoho is requesting a formal letter of expulsion from the opposition party.
In a letter to the NDC General Secretary obtained by Citi News, Mr. Anyidoho wrote, “I am kindly seeking for the expulsion letter for my perusal to allow me advise myself on the future measures.”
He described himself as a dedicated NDC member who has never violated the party’s constitution.
According to the party’s archives, he “has no history of indiscipline.”
Mr. Ayindoho was found guilty of anti-party behavior and misbehavior.
He had been suspended since February 8, 2021, as a result of his persistent criticism of the party, which was mentioned in a petition demanding for his expulsion by Eric Adjei, the NDC’s Bono Regional Deputy Communications Officer.
Mr. Adjei mentioned certain tweets and news sources that showed the former NDC executive’s critical position ahead of the 2020 election.
Mr. Anyidoho also voiced his dissatisfaction with the NDC General Secretary’s statements following his dismissal in the letter.
“Without providing me with any document, you have made so many derogatory statements regarding my purported expulsion from the NDC, and even gone so far as to make incendiary remarks about my working relationship with the late President Atta-Mills, based on your voice and body language.”
