For teachers, caregivers, and families, the visit reaffirmed the organization’s deep commitment to inclusion and to recognizing the potential and dignity of every child, regardless of disability. In September, during the Oguaa Fetu Afahye celebrations (3–5 September 2025), the Ote Dollar Foundation intensified its health-focused agenda by partnering with the Adisadel Urban Health Center. Together, they delivered free, comprehensive health screenings to community members.

The services included Hb tests, malaria screening, mental health counselling, nutrition guidance, and family planning support. They were designed to reach those who often lack access to quality healthcare, especially the elderly and financially vulnerable.

The initiative aligned strongly with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, emphasizing the power of partnerships in advancing community well-being. Health practitioners later noted that the programme helped strengthen local systems and ease pressure on health facilities during the festive season.

At a time when many new mothers struggle to cover basic childbirth costs, the support offered immediate relief and reduced financial pressure on families.

Healthcare workers praised the gesture for helping them deliver safer and more dignified maternal care. The initiative was also a direct contribution to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which promotes good health and well-being for all.

This intervention reinforced the Foundation’s commitment not only to health but to protecting women and children at critical moments when support matters most.
