Central Music Awards 2025: Check Out Full List of Winners

The 14th Central Music Awards came alive on Saturday, 29th November 2025, at the Center for National Culture, CNC, Cape Coast, with a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and excellence.

The event, themed “Feel the Culture,” brought together Music Business Executives, Board and Academy Members, industry players, artistes, and music enthusiasts to recognize and reward outstanding achievements in the music industry.

The night was expertly hosted by the dynamic duo of Queen Afedziwa and Kofi Owusu Opabene, who kept the audience entertained with their infectious energy. The Official DJs for the night, DJ Barnes and DJ Pizil, got the crowd grooving with their electrifying performances of back-to-back central music.

Kojo Vypa stole the show, walking away with four awards, including the coveted Artiste of the Year award. He also took home awards for Best EP/Album of the Year, Best Rapper of the Year, and Best Event of the Year.

As the reigning Artiste of the Year, Kojo Vypa was showered with prizes, including a sponsored trip to South Africa for a Music Business Conference, Vacation and Promotional Tour, courtesy of Mr. Nicholas Hagan, Board Chairman of the Central Music Awards. He also received a 2-day vacation stay at Lemon Beach Resort at Elmina and Wilberforce Apartments located in Cape Coast.

Other winners of the night included Kwesi Taadi who won the Songwriter of the year, Koffii Tome, who emerged as the New Artiste of the Year, Psalms, who won the Female Artiste of the Year award, Sobolo Geng wining the Group of the year, Borther Ishmael winning Gospel Artiste of the year and Breman Asikuma-based rapper, who took home the Emerging Artiste of the Year award.

The event featured captivating performances by Kojo Vypa, Twicy, Psalms, Kwesi Taadi, Yaw Darling, Yhaw Fargo, Jeneral Rojah, Khae Stunna, ButMe, Kojo Bars, Mysterious Bowtie, Don Proph, and many more.
