Central Expo 2022 Duly Launched, Committees Officially Inaugurated

The Central Regional Coordinating Council led by the Central Regional Minister Hon. Mrs Justina Marigold Assan and deputized by the Central Regional Coordinating Director Mr. Kingsley Adjei Boahene on Thursday, April 7, 2022 officially  launched committees for the Central Expo 2022 at the banquet hall of the Central Regional Coordinating Council.

The committees set up are responsible for the planning and coordination of activities for the upcoming Central Regional Expo fair which is scheduled to begin from 23rd July to 3rd August, 2022 at the Adisadel College School Park.

The Regional Coordinating director, Mr. Kingsley Adjei Boahene in his opening address welcomed all the guests and stated the reason for the gathering.

He thanked them for honoring the invitation and advised the committees to work hard together for the success of the upcoming event.These committees included steering, publicity and social media, entertainment, exhibition, protocol, security, finance and sponsorship, transport, grounds and medical cover respectively.

The regional minister in her inaugural message entreated the chairpersons of the various committees to work together with their members to put in their maximum effort in making the event successful.

She also assured them that she was willing to support them in any best ways possible to bring their objectives to fruition. She then tasked the various MCEs to work with their coordinating directors to bring out the potential in their various districts to uphold the name of the region at large.

The Oguaamanhene Osaabarima Kwesi Atta II expressed his excitement and spoke about how the event would go a long way to bring the region alive once again. He commended the Hon. Minister for her massive efforts to develop the region and make it recognized once again at the national level.

He assured her that he together with the regional house of chiefs and the people of the region will contribute their quota to make the event a successful one.
