Roy X Taylor’s Evergreen Highlife Song “Christ” Nominated For Highlife Song Of The Year at 2022 3Music Awards

According to 3Music Network, the 5th Edition of the much anticipated 3 Music Awards night is slated for  March 2022.

An official nominees announcement hosted by MzGee was held on Friday, 11th February, 2020 at Tendade Tea in Accra.

The nominees list released featured Roy X Taylor, Son of Legendary Ebo Taylor securing nominations in the Highlife Song of the year category.

Roy X Taylor’s evergreen highlife song dubbed “Christ” off his Taylor Made EP was nominated together with other highlife classics in same category with Bisa kdei’s (yard), Cina soul ft kidi (feelings), Dada hafco ft akwaboah (playboy), Kelvyn boy ft gyedu blay ambolley (watch nobody), Kofi kinaata (thy grace), Kwabena kwabena (kwadede) and Mr. Drew ft. Kwabena kwabena (fo)


The Highlife song “Christ” performed by Roy X Taylor born Deroy Ekow Taylor is Track 4 off the Taylor Made EP released on October, 2021 and has had national recognition with worldwide airplays.

The authentic highlife song produced by DDT comes with a beautiful music video directed by Range Media and has garnered numerous views on YouTube.

Jay Baba To Perform At Ghana Music Awards – USA 5th Anniversary & Nominees Unveiling

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian American-based Highlife/Afropop artiste, Jay Baba is set to perform live at the 5th-anniversary celebration and nominees announcement of the Ghana Music Awards – USA.

The 2023 Central Music Awards Best International Artiste Wil be sharing the same stage with Legendary Wutah Kobby, VGMA Best Rapper, Amerado, Royal Mama, and Rev Graceman.

The 5th anniversary and nominees unveiling is scheduled for Saturday, 20th April 2024 at the Grand Resort Hotel, 915 NJ-73 Laurel Township, NJ 08054 – New Jersey, United States.

The event will begin with glitz and glam from the Red Carpet at 5:30 PM while the main event will start at exactly 7:30 PM.

Jay Baba – International Musician

Jay Baba is a Ghanaian Musician domiciled in the United States of America (USA). The New York-based Highlife/Afropop Artiste is out with a new Extended Play dubbed “Dream Big”.

The six-track EP contains evergreen songs including; Dream Big, Enjoy Ft Yaw Black, Ameen, Dorime ft Quamina MP, Amarya Ft. Baba Lin, and Den Thing Some.
