Roy X Taylor and Kwame Yogot to represent Central Region at the 5th edition of 3Music Awards

Is yet another edition of the prestigious annual 3Music Awards and as 3Music Network, organizers of the awards scheme has scheduled the event night for March, 2022.

The nominees announcement and Industry night for its 5th edition was held on Friday, 11th February, 2022 at Telande Tea, at Labone in Accra Ghana.

The Nominees unveiling which was hosted by MzGee saw in attendance renowned musicians and industry players gracing the occasion with several hardworking new artistes securing nominations in various categories.

For the 2022 edition of 3Music Awards, two top musicians from Central Region, Roy X Taylor and Kwame Yogot have asecured one nomination each in different categories.

Roy X Taylor, The Taylor Made EP owner and son of music Legend, “Ebo Taylor” was nominated in the Highlife Song of the year category with his evergreen highlife song dubbed “Christ”

Roy X Taylor ‘s highlife song “Christ” will be competing with top notch highlife musicians like Bisa kdei’s (yard), Cina soul ft kidi (feelings), Dada hafco ft akwaboah (playboy), Kelvyn boy ft gyedu blay ambolley (watch nobody), Kofi kinaata (thy grace), Kwabena kwabena (kwadede) and Mr. Drew ft. Kwabena kwabena (fo)

The “Biibi Besi” hitmaker, Kwame Yogot also grabbed nominations in the Breakthrough Act of the year category where he will be competing with similar new talented acts like Abochi, Black sheriff, Kweku darlington, Mona 4reall, Malcolm nuna and Nanky.
