Honourable Bannasco Picks Nomination Form To Contest AOB-NPP Parliamentary Primaries, Sends Goodwill Message To All Intended Aspirants

The New Patriotic Party’s National Communicator and Noble son of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District, Bannasco Francis Ampong-Ansah on today, 27th January, 2020 picked his nomination forms at the Party’s constituency office in Breman Asikuma to Officially declare his intentions of contesting in the forthcoming NPP Parliamentary Primaries slated on April 25, 2020. 

The nomination form was issued by the constituency Chairman Honourable Bruce Domson and Mr. Asamoah Boateng the Constituency Party Secretary.

The Vibrant and hardworking National Communicator was accompanied by his team members. The Team issued a Goodwill message to all intended aspirants which worth reading;

GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM TEAM BANNASCO TO ALL INTENDED ASPIRANTS FOR NPP PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE SLOT IN ASIKUMA ODOBEN BRAKWA.

On behalf of our candidate and expectant Parliamentary candidate for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa come 25th April 2020, Hon. BANNASCO FRANCIS AMPONG-ANSAH, we humbly express  the best of luck to all the “aspirants”  in the upcoming Parliamentary Primaries  elections especially in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency.

The message from Hon. BANNASCO is that we should all see our selves as one big family with a common aim to win the AOB Parliamentary seat come 7th November or 7th December 2020 when Ghana goes to the polls to elect a President and 275/300 Parliamentary.

He wish to appeal to all supporters and loved ones of all aspirants to remain calm, undertake policy driven campaign while having at the back of the mind that promises we make whiles we are campaigning would come to stir at us as a whole in the event any of us win.

Again our candidate is of the view that we have a common aim, thus to contribute our individual quota to the development of AOB, Central region and Ghana as a whole.

He’s optimistic that he would be given the mandate to lead AOB NPP and further AOB Parliamentary seat come 7th January 2021. Without prejudice to the above. Hon. BANNASCO wish to assure the teaming NPP fans in AOB that he would at all time conduct himself in such a manner that would attract more members commitment while enticing people of different orientation to the great NPP party.

He therefore wish to appeal to all aspirants to do same so as to maintain a More United front no matter who wins the primaries.

Again he wish to assure all that he would ACCEPT the verdict of the delegates on 25th April and continuously contribute his quota to the development of the party at all levels and more especially with AOB.

On this note we on behalf of Hon. BANNASCO FRANCIS AMPONG-ANSAH, salutes all constituency, regional and national executive for their commitment towards the party and further appeal that in the coming primaries a LEVEL PLAYING GROUND would be created for all aspirants to exhibit their potential while allowing delegates to decide on whom to lead AOB NPP.

Josey’s Health Corner Founder Wants to Take Community Service Further

Six years can be a long time in community work.

For Josephine Nyankwayeh Bempong, six years have meant moving from health education to community outreach, screening, advocacy and social support.

They have also meant learning that changing lives often requires patience.

Josephine is the founder of Josey’s Health Corner, a platform that has grown around her belief that healthcare information should be available beyond the traditional medical setting.

Her background gives her a strong connection to the issue.

She trained as a Physician Assistant at Presbyterian University, Ghana, graduating in 2018 before gaining professional experience at Achimota Hospital and Legon Hospital.

But instead of keeping her knowledge within clinical practice, she began looking for ways to communicate it to wider audiences.

Radio became a platform.

Television became a platform.

Social media became a platform.

Churches and community gatherings became platforms too.

Over time, the work expanded into community service.

Josey’s Health Corner has been involved in initiatives combining health education with practical support, including an outreach to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Gomoa Fetteh.

Josephine has also continued to develop professionally.

Her Master of Public Health at Ensign Global University allowed her to examine health challenges from a wider community perspective. Her research focused on adults living with diabetes and hypertension in Ashaiman.

That combination of clinical experience, public health education and community engagement has shaped her current vision.

As Josey’s Health Corner marks six years, the organisation is preparing for its November project, Mind Strong.

The initiative will focus on 200 students of Tamale School of Business, while the Widows Embrace component will provide support to 100 vulnerable widows.

Health screening and education will also form part of the wider programme.

For Josephine, the project represents more than an anniversary celebration.

It is an opportunity to bring different aspects of her work together.

Youth development.

Health education.

Social support.

Community service.

She is now looking to stakeholders who can help take the work further.

Businesses, health institutions, NGOs, development organisations, educational institutions, media organisations and individuals all have opportunities to contribute.

After six years of service, Josephine is not presenting community change as a finished achievement.

She is treating it as work that must continue.
