Heritage Promotions Unveils Academy Members for Central Music Awards 2023
Heritage Event Promotions, the organizers of the annual Central Music Awards have officially unveiled 24 Academy Members and District Representatives for the 12th edition of the award scheme.
Central Music Awards 2023 – Play The Music
The Central Music Awards is organized annually to recognize, honour, celebrate and award hardworking and deserving artistes who have achieved greatness and have contributed immensely towards the growth of the music industry in the central region.
Since it’s establishment in 2012, formerly known as the “Obama City Music Awards”, the scheme has grown from 10 award categories to 37 categories.
Fast forward in 2018 when Heritage Promotions took over from Candymania Entertainment, as part of Heritage Promotions’ action plan, District Representatives was introduced as part of the Academy Members to have a fair representation of all the 22 districts in the central region.
As the scheme celebrates its 12th anniversary this year, 24 Academy Members and Districts Representatives have been unveiled and assigned to special roles heard towards achieving a successful event.
The Academy is composed of competent music researchers, digital marketers, public relations experts, media personalities, bloggers, music and events promoters with over a decade experience in the creative industry.

Heritage Event Promotions
The Bono Region is set to shine as distinguished personalities and accomplished individuals are brought together for the Bono Legendary Awards 2026, an initiative powered by Lincoln Multimedia to celebrate people whose contributions have made a lasting impact on the region and beyond.
The awards are expected to provide a platform to recognise individuals who have demonstrated excellence, dedication and remarkable service across various fields, including entertainment, business, education, media, entrepreneurship, community development, culture and other areas of public life.
The initiative comes at a time when there is growing interest in recognising the contributions of individuals while they are actively making a difference in their communities.
Beyond the glamour associated with awards ceremonies, the Bono Legendary Awards seeks to highlight the stories, sacrifices and achievements of people whose work continues to contribute to the development and promotion of the Bono identity.
The Bono Region has in recent years witnessed several initiatives aimed at recognising excellence and promoting the region’s cultural and professional contributions. The recently held Bono Regional Ghana Journalists Association Awards, for instance, brought together media practitioners and stakeholders to recognise outstanding contributions to journalism and development.
The 2026 edition of the Bono Legendary Awards is therefore expected to attract personalities from different sectors, with the celebration providing an opportunity for honourees, families, friends, industry players and members of the public to come together.
For many of the expected recipients, the recognition will represent more than a trophy. It will serve as an acknowledgement of years of hard work, resilience and commitment to their respective fields.
The awards also have the potential to contribute to the broader conversation about preserving Bono’s history and celebrating people who have helped shape its social, cultural and economic landscape.
As preparations continue, attention will be focused on the personalities who will receive recognition, the categories introduced by the organisers and the stories behind the individuals being celebrated.
