NDC Youth in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District To Embark on ‘Nana Edzi Hen Ewu’ Demonstration on July 1 at Breman Asikuma.
The Organisation department of Asikuma Odoben-Brakwa NDC, together with it’s Constituency Executives are set to stage a demonstration dubbed ‘Nana Edzi Hen Ewu’ on Friday, July 1, 2022.
The demonstration is themed Enough is Enough and will kick start on Friday, July 1 on the principal streets of Breman Asikuma at exactly 1:00 PM.
The aim of the demonstration is to draw the attention of the government to the economic hardship in the district.
According to the conveners of the demonstration led by Mr. Richard Dovi, the NDC Constituency Organizer, the Asikuma Odoben-Brakwa constituency lack proper road networks and which affect the economic development of the district.
Again, they highlighted on the issues of the high rate of unemployment in the district. Highly energetic educated Youths are in the house without getting jobs after school.

Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah Retains Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency Seat
Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah, the incumbent member of parliament for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency, has been re-elected to represent the constituency for the next four years for a second term.
He won the 2024 parliamentary election with 25,244 votes, defeating her opponent, Winifred Ababio-Ayin of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who received 22,498 votes.
Hon. Alhaji Ghansah assumed his role as Member of Parliament for the first time in 2020, when he defeated the NPP’s Hon. Emmanuel Adjei Domson.
In his first term, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah carried out many developmental projects and initiatives that helped improve the lives of the people and the constituency.
These developmental projects includes, reshaping roads in the district, providing free driving licenses, organizing free eye surgeries, donating over 100,000 roofing sheets for school projects and building mechanized boreholes to solve water problems.
This means Hon. Alhaji Ghansah’s second-term mandate reflects the confidence the people of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency have in his leadership and their trust in his commitment to driving development across the constituency.
