Ghana Suffers 3-2 Defeat Against Portugal

Ghana Black Stars has failed to secure a win in their first opener against Portugal in group H with a 3-2 defeat.

Skipper Andre Ayew levelled it out for Ghana on the 73rd mins after a controversial penalty scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Whiles Black Stars were jubilating, Joao Felix and Rafael leao scored to give Portugal the lead.

Substitute Osman Bukari gave Ghana hope with a close-range header on 87mins.

Morocco Becomes First African Nation To Reach World Cup Semi Final

Morocco has become the first African team to qualify for the semi final of the FIFA World Cup after 1-0 win over Portugal at the Al Thumama Stadium on Saturday.

Youssef En-Nesyri open the score sheet for Morocco on the 42nd minutes of the first half.

The Moroccan has conceded just one goal since in the competition and was even an own goal.

In the group stage, Morocco beat Belgium 2-0 and was equal to Spain throughout the round of 16 and now Portugal in the quarter-finals.

Morocco will face France or England in the semis of the World Cup 2022.
