Biibi Besi hitman, Kwame Yogot has denied that he copied Yaa Pono’s style of comic rap. The rapper, whose latest single with Kuame Eugene is making waves across the country stated in a live radio interview on Darling Fm’s Top 30 Countdown show over the weekend at Cape Coast.

“Yaa Pono is my senior. I have stayed with him before and I even worked with him on my ‘Bitter Sweet’ project. I learned from him and I agree there are some similarities in the way we rap but I didn’t copy him. I have been doing this style for over 11 years underground.”

“I am known by all my fans as the Rap Comedian and it comes naturally. My style of rap is different from Yaa Pono’s, I didn’t copy him.” he remarked.

He thanked the people of the Central Region for their unflinching support and pleaded with all and sundry to keep supporting his music. “The best is yet to come”, he concluded.

Kwame Yogot toured all radio stations in Cape Coast including ABN’s DarlingFm 90.9 on Saturday, 6th March in a bid to promote “Biibi Besi”, a new single with VGMAs current Artiste of the year, Kuame Eugene.

Wensah Foundation International Supports Vulnerable New Mother at Sunyani Teaching Hospital

In a heartwarming display of compassion and community support, Wensah Foundation International, a Sunyani-based NGO, has come to the aid of a mentally challenged new mother, Lamisi Tindani, who was detained at the Sunyani Teaching Hospital due to her inability to pay medical bills amounting to after undergoing a successful cesarean section (CS) to deliver a baby boy.

Upon learning of Lamisi’s situation, the Wensah Foundation International team promptly visited the hospital to assess the situation and provide assistance. The very next day, the NGO settled all of Lamisi’s outstanding medical bills, ensuring she could focus on her recovery and caring for her newborn without the burden of financial stress.

In addition to covering the medical expenses, Wensah Foundation International demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals by donating essential items to Lamisi for the well-being of both her and her baby. The mother of the patient received these items with gratitude, expressing heartfelt thanks to the NGO for their kindness and generosity.

The hospital’s is administrator, Mr. Omar, extended his appreciation to Wensah Foundation International for their philanthropic efforts. He encouraged the NGO to continue supporting vulnerable women in society, acknowledging their crucial role in promoting the welfare of those in need.

This act of kindness is consistent with Wensah Foundation International’s mission, which focuses on championing child rights protection and women empowerment. The NGO’s dedication to this cause was recognized in 2021 when it was awarded the Best NGO in Child Protection and Women Empowerment by the Cenba Africa Excellence Awards in Kumasi. Through their actions, Wensah Foundation International continues to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
