Meet MC Deefio, The Main Event Host For The Central Music Awards 2022
The 11th edition of the Central Music Awards organized by Heritage Event Promotions is salted for Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Organizing this awards for over a decade, the scheme seek to celebrate, recognize and honor hardworking musicians and Industry players who have contributed immensely to the development of the creative industry in central region.
As part of the organizers plan to make the 11th edition extraordinary, a Black Carpet has been introduced before the main event which is set to be hosted by Award Winning Cape Coast based Actress, Effua Nkoso.
The Main Event Night will be hosted by MC Deefio, multiple award winning Corporate & Event MC from Agona Swedru.
Derrick Fio, better known in the Creative Industry as MC Deefio is a young Ghanaian Public Relations Expert, an Educationist, Corporate & Event MC and a prolific writer.
MC Deefio has received couple of awards and recognitions Which includes; Best Event MC of the Year – Central DJ Awards 22 and Central Entertainment and Business Awards 22 – Best MC (Nominee)
The 11th edition of the Central Music Awards is slated for Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Glitz City Hotel, Danicom School at Pedu behind Hutchland City in Cape Coast.
Heritage Promotions, the organizing team anticipates about 2000 attendees for this year’s Award celebration.
Attendees are advised to purchase advance tickets or at the gate at a cool rate of GCH 30 Regular, GHC 50 VIP and GHC 100 VVIP.
Come all to experience the glitz and glam at the Black Carpet with exclusive Photoshoots as well as thrilling performances from your favorite Artistes.

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian American-based Highlife/Afropop artiste, Jay Baba is set to perform live at the 5th-anniversary celebration and nominees announcement of the Ghana Music Awards – USA.
The 2023 Central Music Awards Best International Artiste Wil be sharing the same stage with Legendary Wutah Kobby, VGMA Best Rapper, Amerado, Royal Mama, and Rev Graceman.
The 5th anniversary and nominees unveiling is scheduled for Saturday, 20th April 2024 at the Grand Resort Hotel, 915 NJ-73 Laurel Township, NJ 08054 – New Jersey, United States.
The event will begin with glitz and glam from the Red Carpet at 5:30 PM while the main event will start at exactly 7:30 PM.
Jay Baba – International Musician
Jay Baba is a Ghanaian Musician domiciled in the United States of America (USA). The New York-based Highlife/Afropop Artiste is out with a new Extended Play dubbed “Dream Big”.
The six-track EP contains evergreen songs including; Dream Big, Enjoy Ft Yaw Black, Ameen, Dorime ft Quamina MP, Amarya Ft. Baba Lin, and Den Thing Some.
Renowned Producers and Sound Engineers who worked on the “Dream Big EP” include; Possigee, Willizbeatz, Liugeebeatz, Jaypro Lyta, Gigz Beatz, and Fox Beatz.
