It Wasn’t Fair For VGMA Board To Ignore My “Diagrams EP” — Obibini cries out 

Renowned Ghanaian Hiphop Artiste Kwaku Boafo known Professionally in the music industry as Obibini, signed under Zylofon Music has shared his ill feelings about the recent 2020 VGMA Nominees List released of which his “Diagrams EP” wasn’t recognized.

According to Obibini, He feels it wasn’t fair for the VGMA Committee to ignore his Diagrams EP. He made these revelations known during his live Twitter Interaction with Sintim, Blogger and CEO of Sintim Media. 

During their live Twitter Interaction, Sintim asked Obibini why he made a statement on his Facebook page after the release of VGMA nominees list that “Rap is dead in Ghana”.

Obibini replied by saying “ Rap isn’t dead and I’m one of the people who’ll make sure of that. I just felt it wasn’t fair for the committee to ignore the Diagrams EP, whoever they be.

It’s obvious that, the Diagrams EP is a great masterpiece with good Hiphop tracks which worth nominating in the Best Album Category or some songs on it be nominated in the Best Hiphop song category as well as he Obibini being nominated in the best rapper of the year category. 

There’s no doubt that rapper Obibini worked so hard last year and worth getting nominated in these categories mentioned. 

Sintim’s live Twitter Interaction with the rapper also revealed that Obibini got signed onto Zylofon Music after being featured on Kumi Guitar’s song. He also revealed that, he released “The Statement” after inking a juicy deal with Zylofon Music when people were asking why him, so he needed to make a bold Statement.

Obibini has finally released another banger dubbed “Get A Life” which is currently making waves in the country. The song is available on all digital platforms for streaming.
