I Chose To Do Rap When Reggie Rockstone Started The Hiplife Movement — Obibini Reveals 

Award winning Ghanaian Rapper Obinini known by his hit songs “The Statement”, “Aye Me” and “Get A Life” has revealed that, he chose to do rap when Reggie Rockstone started the Hiplife movement. 

The rapper made this revelation during a live Twitter Interaction with Sintim, Blogger and CEO of Sintim Media. 

Sintim asked Obibini why he chose Hiphop as his music genre, Obibini replied by saying, I chose to rap when Reggie Rockstone started the Hiplife movement. 

When asked as to which Musician has been his biggest inspiration in his genre of music, Obibini replied by saying he took his first rap lessons from Reggie Rockstone’s Albums. 

In his reply to Sintim’s question this is what he said; “I have endless list with regards to that but Reggie Rockstone tops it all. Took my first lessons from his Albums”. 

It’s obvious that Obibini’s greatest inspiration in the music industry is Reggie Rockstone and he really hold the founder of Hiplife in high esteem.
