Honourable Adjei Domson Donates Electric Suction Machine And PPEs To Odoben Health Center

Donation of Electric Suction Machine and Personal Protective Equipments To Odoben Health Center by Hon. Emmanuel Adjei Domson, AOB NPP Parliamentary Candidate

On Thursday morning, 13th August, 2020, The Parliamentary Candidate representing the New Patriotic Party in Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, Honourable Emmanuel Adjei Domson sent a delegation led by Alhaji Ibrahim Fuseni the Constituency NASARA and NADMO Coordinator to present medical equipments and personal protective items to health workers in Odoben Health Center.

The donation which included an Electric Suction Machine, four (4) gallons of hand sanitizers, two (2) boxes of hand gloves and six boxes of verna mineral water were presented to Doctor Richard Armah, a Physician Assistant in-charge of the health center.

Items Donated By Hon. Emmanuel Adjei Domson To Odoben Health Center

When presenting the items on behalf of Hon. Adjei Domson, AOB District NADMO Coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Fuseni commended Doctor Richard Armah and Staff of Odoben Health Center for the good works they are doing for the people of Agona Odoben Township.

He went further to preach the good works of Hon. Adjei Domson during his tenure in office as DCE and assured Doctor Richard Armah and his health personnel of more donations and developmental projects in the health center when elected as Member of Parliament.

Alhaji Ibrahim Fuseni assured the health workers that, Hon. Adjei Domson’s vision to build nurses quarters and expand the Health Center as promised during his official visit to the town will become reality when elected as Member of parliament. He then appealed to them to help campaign massively for Hon. Adjei Domson to win the December 7th General Election.

Doctor Richard Armah expressed his warm appreciation to Honourable Emmanuel Domson for such a kind gesture to their health center.
The Physician Assistant revealed that, Odoben Health Center was the only Health Center in the District without a Suction Machine. He expressed his sincere gratitude to Hon. Adjei Domson for coming to their aid and providing them with an Electric Suction Machine to help save lives as we battle the novel Covid-19 pandemic.

Frontline Health Workers At Odoben Health Center

Doctor Richard Armah explained the importance of the Suction Machine to witnesses present during the donation. He made it known that, the device is very essential to their work as it will help in saving the lives of patience who are at the point of death during difficultly in breathing or lungs related diseases.

He also appealed to Alhaji Ibrahim Fuseni and witnesses who were present to assist in providing more nose masks and hand gloves in order for them to get in large quantities for their daily work. He then thanked Alhaji Ibrahim Fuseni and his delegation for delivering such vital items to their health center.

The presentation saw in attendance, Constituency NASARA and District NADMO Coordinator Alhaji Ibrahim Fuseni, Former Constituency Youth Organizer Mr. Forson, Odoben NPP Electoral Area Coordinators, Polling Station Executives and some party members from the Ghana Union Movement. (GUM) who have thrown their weight behind Hon. Adjei Domson for victory come December 7th.

National Best Nurse/Midwife Beatrice Sewor Embarks on Appreciation and Gratitude Tour Across Volta and Oti Regions

Fresh from being crowned GRNMA National Best Nurse/Midwife 2025, Beatrice Sewor has commenced an Appreciation and Gratitude Tour across the Volta and Oti Regions to honour the communities, institutions and individuals whose support contributed to her remarkable achievement.

Madam Sewor received the prestigious national recognition at the GRNMA Annual Awards Night held at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra, on 12th December 2025, a feat that has been widely celebrated within Ghana’s health sector as a testament to dedication, compassionate care and professional excellence.

As part of her commitment to sharing the honour with those who journeyed with her, she began the three-day appreciation tour on 27th April 2026 in Ho. The tour route includes stops in Hohoe, Jasikan and Dambai, before climaxing in Nkwanta on 29th April 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Hospital.

The tour is designed to express heartfelt gratitude to communities, health directorates, selected health facilities, stakeholders and supporters whose encouragement and contributions played a pivotal role in her success. It also includes a courtesy visit to the Oti Regional Minister, Hon. John Kwadwo Gyapong, as part of efforts to acknowledge institutional support and strengthen stakeholder relations.

The initiative is not only a thanksgiving exercise but also a recognition that the award represents a collective victory for healthcare workers and communities in the Volta and Oti Regions. Through engagements and courtesy calls along the route, Madam Sewor is celebrating frontline health professionals, inspiring younger practitioners and reinforcing bonds within the healthcare ecosystem.

The tour will conclude in Nkwanta at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital to mark the occasion and celebrate what many have described as a shared achievement for the region and the nursing profession at large.

Speaking on the significance of the tour, supporters have described the gesture as a reflection of humility and servant leadership, noting that Madam Sewor’s decision to return to the people and institutions that supported her demonstrates the very values that earned her the national honour.
