Hon. Adjei Domson To Build 15 Teachers Quarters For Brakwa Senior High Technical School 

Honourable Emmanuel Adjei Domson – NPP Parliamentary Candidate For Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency

The Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of  the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency, Honourable Emmanuel Adjei Domson on Sunday, 9th August, 2020, together with some NPP constituency and Polling Station executives and his campaign team paid a courtesy visit to the good of Breman Brakwa Township where he officially introduced himself to electorates and solicited for their votes in the forthcoming December 7 General Elections. 

When addressing Chiefs, Queen Mothers, Elders, Opinion Leaders and inhabitants, Honourable Adjei Domson acknowledged Hon. P.C. Appiah Ofori and Hon. Anthony Effah for their good works when in office as elected members of Parliament for AOB and assured constituents that, he is coming to continue and ensure more development in Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency. 

He briefly reviewed his developmental projects and achievements he saw to their implementation in Breman Brakwa during his tenure in office as DCE from 2005 to 2008 when he worked under Hon. P.C. Appiah Ofori, Former Member of Parliament for the constituency.

During his speech, Hon. Adjei Domson laid emphasis on the construction of all major roads within the Breman Brakwa Township, the construction of Brakwa Durbar Grounds, the building of Brakwa Senior High Technical School, and some Basic schools in Brakwa.

Honourable Adjei Domson also made it known that, he has lobbied for the construction of Dormitories for Breman Brakwa Senior High Technical School.

He then assured the people of Breman Brakwa that, when elected into office and the Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, he will build fifteen (15) Teachers Quarters for Breman Brakwa Senior High Technical School to help solve the accommodation problems most teachers posted to the school face in the town. 

Mr. Wilberforce Arhinful – AOB NPP Former Constituency Research & Elections Officer

The incoming member of parliament donated sixty (60) bags of cement to Breman Brakwa township where he allocated fifty (50) bags of cement to Brakwa Senior High Technical School for immediate developmental projects. He then donated the remaining ten (10) bags of cement to Brakwa G.P.R.T.U for immediate developmental projects in their station. 

Oheneba Bruce Dompson – AOB NPP Constituency Chairman

Honourable Adjei Domson assured the people of Breman Brakwa of massive developmental projects when elected as MP for AOB. He went further to appeal to the natives of Brakwa to stop the tribal politics and vote massively for the New Patriotic Party for more development.

Founder of Accra Metropolitan University, Prof. Joshua Alabi, Conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degree at UPSA

In a remarkable and memorable ceremony held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), the Founder of Accra Metropolitan University, Prof. Joshua Alabi, was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in recognition of his outstanding contributions to higher education, transformational leadership, and national development.

The event drew distinguished academics, industry leaders, public servants, alumni, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate a man widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most visionary institutional reformers. Prof. Alabi, who once served as the Vice-Chancellor of UPSA, is credited with leading one of the most significant turnarounds in Ghana’s tertiary education landscape.

During his acceptance address, Prof. Alabi reflected on his journey with UPSA—how he encountered the university at a modest state and led its transformation into the world-class institution it is today. According to him, these guiding principles shaped the culture, strategy, and achievements of UPSA during his tenure and continue to serve as pillars for sustainable growth in any institution.

Prof. Alabi also expressed gratitude to the governing council, faculty, alumni, and students whose collective efforts fueled the university’s historic rise. He further dedicated the honor to all educational leaders committed to innovation, ethical leadership, and youth development.

As Founder of Accra Metropolitan University, Prof. Alabi’s recognition at UPSA serves not only as a personal achievement but also as a national acknowledgment of his decades-long commitment to quality education, good governance, and transformational leadership in Ghana and across Africa.
