Ghana Crowned Champions of CAF African Schools Football Championship (Girls U15)

Ghana’s Girls U15 team has emerged victorious in the CAF African Schools Football Championship, clinching the title on home soil at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra.
The young talents triumphed with a 2-0 win over Uganda in the finals, delivering a proud moment for the nation and showcasing the future of women’s football in Ghana.
Goals from Daniella Abass and Belinda Kpentey sealed the well-deserved victory for the Ghanaian side, who dominated the game with confidence, skill, and tactical discipline.
The match, witnessed by an enthusiastic crowd, highlighted the strength of Ghana’s grassroots football and the bright prospects of the next generation.
The victory earned the team not only the championship trophy but also a grand prize of $300,000, a significant boost to youth football development in the country.

Individual brilliance was also recognized during the tournament. Jennifer Awuku was named Player of the Tournament, impressing fans and scouts alike with her outstanding performances throughout the competition.
