Central Region’s Finest MC, Deefio Inducted AS Winneba MYF Diocesan Secretary
CENTRAL REGION’S FINEST MC DEEFIO INDUCTED AS WINNEBA MYF DIOCESAN SECRETARY
Mr. Derrick Fio, Inducted Winneba MYF Diocesan Secretary
One of Central Region’s finest and fast-growing Master of Ceremonies, Derrick Fio, popularly known in the creative industry as MC Deefio has been inducted as the Secretary of the Winneba Diocesan Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) – a youth organization under the Youth Development Ministry of the Methodist Church Ghana.
The event which came off at the Ebenezer Methodist Church – Gomoa Benso was graced by the leadership of the Methodist church at the Diocese. The event also witnessed other distinguished personalities within and outside the Methodist Church, friends and family members who trooped in to congratulate the gentleman, who many until the day, never knew his undiluted commitment towards the church.
A brief read of Derrick’s profile as far as MYF as an organization is concerned shows he has served as a Branch Secretary, Branch President, Circuit Assistant Secretary, Circuit Secretary and finally a Diocesan Secretary.
The executives who were inducted into office were:

2. Bro. Emmanuel Essoun – Vice Chairman
3. Bro. Derrick Fio – Secretary
4. Bro. Lewis Oti Boaitey – Assistant Secretary
5. Bro. Titus Eduafo – Collins – Financial Secretary
6. Sis. Patricia Egyirwaa Mensah – Treasurer
7. Bro. Samuel Watson Marfo – Evangelism Coordinator
8. Sis. Evelyn Awereba Mensah – Co-opted Member
9. Bro. Barnabas Coffie Gyagri – Immediate Past Chairman
10. Bro. Kwame Adu Acheampong – Ex-officio
The officers are expected to supervise the activities of the youth fellowship in the 21 circuits throughout the Winneba Diocese from October 1st, 2022 to 30th September, 2025.
MC Deefio is a young Ghanaian Public Relations Expert, an Educationist, Corporate & Event MC and a prolific writer. MC Deefio has received couple of awards and recognitions Which includes; Best Event MC of the Year – Central DJ Awards 22 and Central Entertainment and Business Awards 22 – Best MC (Nominee).
