In an exclusive interview with renowned media personality. Kpekpo Maxwell Justice better known as KMJ on Prime Morning, aired live on Joy Prime,
the Director of Global Info Analytics, Mussa Dankwah, asserted emphatically that, the former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would lose in a general election contest against leading figures of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), even if he emerges victorious in the 2026 New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.
According to Dankwah, current data trends and voter sentiments point to significant challenges for the former Vice President’s electoral prospects.
Mr. Dankwah explained that in a hypothetical poll scenario involving the top four potential NDC presidential candidates; Hon. Ato Forson, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and Hon. Julius Debrah, Dr. Bawumia falls short in all possible match-ups.
He noted that the strength of the NDC contenders, coupled with prevailing economic and governance concerns, continues to shape public opinion and voting behavior across key regions of the country.
The Global Info Analytics Director further emphasized that while internal party dynamics and primary elections remain crucial, broader national issues will ultimately determine electoral outcomes.
He stressed the importance of policy credibility, public trust, and effective political messaging in influencing undecided voters.
Dankwah’s remarks have since sparked renewed debate within political circles, as both major parties prepare strategically for the 2026 general elections.
