We Are Hopeful Of Winning AFCON 2022-Christian Atsu

Black stars and Saudi Arabian club Al Raed’s winger Christian Atsu Twasam has assured that the Afcon trophy will be resting in the camp of GFA after the tournament which will be hosted in Cameroon ends.

According to the consummate midfielder, he has total belief in the players selected to represent Ghana in the AFCON tournament and will surely grab the most coveted trophy on the soil.

Atsu, who had played football in not less than three countries in Europe, is convinced that football playing is controlled by the mind and not the mere appearance of a player so Ghanaians should discard the idea of our players being young hence inexperienced.

The former FC Porto winger made this assertion when granting an interview via video call on sports segment of tv3 news.

The African Cup Of Nations is slated to begin on Sunday, 9th January, 2022.
Ghana is grouped with Morroco, Comoros and Gabon and will play her first match on Monday 10th January 2022 against the Atlas lions of Morocco.
