NASS French Club Clinches Third Place in Prestigious Central Regional French DRAMAFEST Competition

Nyankumasi Ahenkro Senior High School secured third place at the Central Regional French DRAMAFEST Competition, which was held at the Amissah Arthur Language Center, University of Cape Coast (UCC) on Friday, June 21, 2024.

The school’s NASS French Club represented Nyankumasi Ahenkro SHS at the event, which saw seven participating schools compete.

Notably, Jacob Lambon, a final year student of the school, emerged as the overall Best Male Actor.

The competition was organized by the Regional Centres For The Teaching of French, CREF DE CAPE COAST.

1. Bisease SHS – 1st

2. Wesley Girls High School – 2nd

4. Mando SHS – 4th

5. Siddiq SHS – 5th

7. Abakrampa SHS – 7th

The participants were awarded medals, stationery, and learning materials.

Madam Felicity Arkorfa Atiawu, Assistant Headmistress (Administration), Mr. Kwaku Asumah, Mrs. Rose Akumani, and Mrs. Hannah Aidoo for their hard work and guidance.

Breman Asikuma SHS Emerges Victorious in NSMQ Regional Contest, Secures Spot in National Championship

In an intense and thrilling regional contest held at Cape Coast on Monday, June 24, 2024, Breman Asikuma Senior High School (SHS) has emerged victorious, earning a well-deserved spot in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Championship.

The contest, which saw four schools vying for the top spot, ended with Breman Asikuma SHS scoring an impressive 22 points. Obrachire Senior High Technical School (SHTS) closely followed with 21 points, while Holy Child School and Eguafo Abrem SHS trailed behind with 19 and 15 points, respectively.

The grandstand finish has secured Breman Asikuma SHS a coveted spot in the national championship, where they will compete against other top-performing schools from across the country.

Congratulations to the students, teachers, and staff of Breman Asikuma SHS on this outstanding achievement.
