Evelyn Badu Wins Best Female Inter-Club Player at 2022 CAF Awards

Avaldsnes IF football club player Evelyn Badu has emerged the Confederation of African Football inter-club best female footballer at the awards in Morocco on Thursday night.

Evelyn Badu was also named the Women’s Young player of the year at the ceremony.

The Black Princesses captain beats the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Andile Dlamini and South Africa defender Bambanani Mbanie.

Evelyn Badu starred in Hasaacas Ladies sensational sweep of domestic titles at just ended 2021/22 season as well as winning the WAFU Zone B championship and also the goal queen.

19-year old Evelyn Badu is currently with the Black Princesses team in Ghana preparing for the FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in Costa Rica next month.
