Blogger Nathaniel Quaye continues to rise as one of Ghana’s most impactful media voices, earning Brand Blogger of the Year and Discovery Author of the Year at the prestigious Iconic Excellence Awards 2025. These awards recognize his growing influence as a digital storyteller, author, public speaker, and advocate for youth development.

Known for his strategic and creative approach to brand storytelling, the CEO of Anansesem Media has collaborated with a range of respected companies, helping shape their public image through meaningful, value-driven content. He currently serves as the Public Relations Officer for Accra Metropolitan University, managing the institution’s media presence and public engagement. He is also the Brand Ambassador for Zipup Couture, using his platform to highlight innovation in youth fashion and creative expression.

His impact extends beyond the blogging world. As the Director of Public Relations and Media for the Federation of African Youth Development, a youth-focused NGO, Blogger Nathaniel Quaye plays a key role in advancing programs that promote youth empowerment, education, and welfare across the continent. Through this role, he helps create opportunities that enable young people to grow, thrive, and become agents of change in their communities.

In the literary space, he was honored as Discovery Author of the Year for his debut book, The Internet & You, which addresses the responsible use of social media and the internet among young people. Drawing from real-world experiences, the book serves as a guide to using digital tools for self-development and community impact.

Passionate about digital literacy, Blogger Nathaniel Quaye regularly visits junior high and senior high schools, educating students on how to navigate the internet and social platforms positively. His school outreach programs are built around encouraging the next generation to embrace technology not just for entertainment, but as a path to knowledge, creativity, and opportunity.

In his acceptance speech, he shared,

“These awards are a testimony to the power of purpose, faith, and consistency. I’m passionate about storytelling, youth empowerment, and helping people and brands find their voice in the digital space.”

MTN Ghana Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives Make a Lasting Impact

The MTN Ghana Foundation has been at the forefront of championing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at driving growth and development in communities across the country.

During a panel discussion at the 2025 MTN Media and Stakeholders Forum held on Thursday, October 30, at Elmina Beach Resort, Mr. Michael Gbowonyo, General Manager of Internal Audit and Forensics at MTN Ghana, highlighted the foundation’s remarkable CSR endeavors.

With over 170 projects implemented nationwide, the MTN Ghana Foundation’s CSR initiatives are focused on three key areas: Education, Health, and Economic Empowerment. In the realm of Education, the foundation has made significant contributions, including the construction of classroom blocks, school dormitories, libraries, and ICT centers for schools and prisons.

Additionally, the MTN Bright Scholarship initiative has provided full educational sponsorship opportunities to thousands of tertiary students and approximately 200 teachers across the country.

In the Health sector, the MTN Ghana Foundation has made substantial investments, including the provision of fully equipped blood banks at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Winneba Trauma Hospital. Furthermore, the foundation has constructed a 15-bed children’s ward at the Twifo Praso District Hospital at a total cost of GHC 150,000.

Other notable initiatives include the “Yellow Care” program, which supports infants in hospitals, and annual sponsorships and donations to traditional councils in the Central Region during festivals such as the Edina Bakatue, Oguaa Fetu Afahye, and Aboakyire.

Through its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the MTN Ghana Foundation is making a tangible impact in the lives of Ghanaians, demonstrating the company’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.
