Biography of Minister Pat: Renowned Ghanaian-UK Based Gospel Musician

Minister Pat – International Gospel Musician

Minister Pat, born Patience Cabitha Welbeck, is a Ghanaian-UK based Gospel Musician known for her powerful ministration in the Gospel Music Industry.

She hails from Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region. Minister Pat started her basic school education at Air Force Complex in Takoradi and Anglican School in Saltpond. She continued to Winneba Senior High School for her second cycle education.

With high hopes of climbing the academic ladder, Cabitha Welbeck furthered her education at Takoradi Technical University in Ghana and Leeds Beckett University in the United Kingdom, where she currently works as a Student Social Worker.

Combining academics with music and her occupation, Minister Pat began her music career in 2007 in Ghana and developed professionally in 2018 during her stay in the United Kingdom.

The sensational gospel artiste has ten powerful gospel songs to her credit. The tracks include: “Beautiful Thing,” “Mewo Nyame,” “Holy Spirit,” “Chineke,” “Prayer,” “Your Name is Jesus,” “Nya Gyidzi,” “Our Kese,” and “Adom Ara Kwa.”

Minister Pat ventured into music to win souls and inspire people. She has performed on several stages, such as church programs, birthdays, revivals, and Gospel Rock Shows both in Ghana and the United Kingdom.

Born Samuel Yaw Antwi on the 30th of October 2000, Yaw Darling draws and is inspired by the great of Ghanaian  and African music legends such as Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, Samini, Fela Kuti, Wizkid and Burna Boy just to name a few.

Yaw Darling has honed his skills to create a fresh take on the genre that speaks to both old and new fans alike. His energetic and charismatic stage presence combined with his smooth vocals and powerful lyrics is one to watch and sure to earn him a dedicated following.

Yaw Darling, signed to Ghana music imprint, Sky Entertainment made his musical debut in February 2023 with the release of his first single “Pull Up”, which speaks for dedication and loyalty in love.
