It is natural for individuals to be fascinated by celebrities and to want to know everything about them. And, with the rise of social media, it appears that nothing is off bounds.

While actress Nana McBrown isn’t bothered by others gossiping about her, she isn’t amused by unpleasant comments about her marriage. She claims she dislikes people making disparaging remarks about her marriage, husband Maxwell Mensah, and daughter Maxine.

“I need to put everything I have into protecting my marriage. When it comes to difficulties with myself, I don’t see why my spouse or daughter should be included. When nasty things are said about the individuals I care about the most, I feel offended,” she previously told Graphic Showbiz.

She stated that she was attempting to avoid stepping on anyone’s toes and that she was going about her business.

“It might be tough to hear negative things spoken about you and act as if you haven’t heard them. Hearing someone say untrue things about you as if they knew you and then ignoring it hurts. It takes a lot of patience to achieve something like that, and I’ve been through a lot.

“I hear a lot of negative remarks about myself, but in order for peace to reign, I just ignore them and reply when the moment is right,” she explained.

Nana Ama, who presents United Showbiz on UTV, said one of the things that got to her was when Counsellor George Lutterodt suggested her marriage would not endure.

“How could a married guy, much alone a therapist, make such a remark about me?” I wondered. I was furious, but I promised myself that I would face him one day. When we met on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review, I finally confronted him, and he struggled to explain himself to me,” she said.

Aside from that, Nana Ama reacted to critics who said she couldn’t manage her United Showbiz guests by stating she occasionally lets them express their minds.

“As an actress, I understand how it feels to be restricted from expressing your emotions. I let them speak whatever is bothering them, and then we come up with a better answer. “I will be unhappy if I am unable to convey my feelings about a certain issue,” she stated.

Nana Ama is now known as the “Queen of Endorsements,” since she represents a variety of businesses in Ghana, and she revealed that she earned all of those partnerships by working hard.

“Right now, there are a lot of firms seeking to collaborate with me,” she explained, “but I am extremely picky about who I identify myself with.”
