Daily Stunning photos of Dentaa slaying in African prints which prove she is always promoting Ghana Made to the world.
For almost a year now, Sintim Media as part of my daily routine on social media took upon myself to monitor Ghanaian celebrities both in Ghana and abroad as to what they are doing aside their fame and brand in putting Ghana on the map in terms of art and tourism.
With this task I took, one strong woman of many parts I came across is Akosua Dentaa Amoateng.
Akosua Dentaa Amoateng, best known by her stage name Dentaa, is an award-winning British Ghanaian entrepreneur, actress, TV presenter, singer, producer and manager. She was awarded an MBE in Her Majesty The Queen; Elizabeth II’s 2016 Birthday Honors, a year later in 2017 she received the Ghana Peace Awards Humanitarian Service Laureate in Accra, Ghana.
Outside of broadcasting, Dentaa is known as the founder and CEO of non-profit organisation the Ghana UK Based Achievement (GUBA) Awards which organises an annual awards ceremony in Britain recognising the ‘hugely significant’ contribution that British-Ghanaians make to society Dentaa founded the awards in 2009 with the first awards ceremony taking place in London, England, in October 2010.
Dentaa, who describes herself as a “proud Ghanaian”, had the idea to set up the awards as she felt that there was “nothing out there promoted and enriched my heritage”
Dentaa who is doing so much in promoting Ghana abroad don’t only focus on her talent and fame but has a complete brand which makes her an institution in a whole who is dare to put the name of Ghana on the international market.
Her Afrocentric appearance alone when appeared daily at occasions, ceremonies, events and on Television is really helping the art and culture industry as she is helping to promote Ghana Made Prints to the world.
Keen observations made by Sintim Media indicates that, this young powerful mother of three slays her beautiful well designed Ghana made prints on every event organized either in Ghana, the United Kingdom, USA and the rest of the world.
A typical example realized is her annual GUBA Awards held in the United Kingdom.
During the Ghana UK Based Achievement (GUBA) Awards which recognizes the ‘hugely significant’ contribution that British-Ghanaians make to society, Dentaa slays in her beautiful Ghana made prints to grace the ceremony.
In helping promote our art industry to the world, it is of no doubt that Dentaa is doing so much for Ghana and it’s of importance that all Ghanaian celebrities, public figures, citizens both in Ghana and abroad should consider doing same as it will help project the image of Ghana high and also promote our Arts and tourism Industry.
