Torchlight Tours Launches Afro Torch 2024, Maiden Edition To Be Held In December.
Afro-Torch, the newest addition to Ghana’s tourism scene, was officially launched over the weekend. The event (Afro Torch) is scheduled for December 24th to December 26th each year. With a lineup of exciting activities, from a cultural fair to a business fair, a masquerade walk, cocktail parties, tours, and a black-themed party, there’s something for everyone at this event.
Michael Orleans, CEO of Torch Light Tours and organizer of Afro Torch, intimated that “this event is a celebration of our rich African culture and heritage, and we are proud to bring it to Cape Coast. He reiterated that “beyond leisure, Ghana has a lot more to offer during December, and it is only right that Cape Coast sets the pace.”

He called for support from the media to make Afro-Torch a staple in Ghana’s tourism calendar. The guests were thrilled about this development and pledged their commitment to making this event a success. The slogan ‘Visit Cape Coast’ was the icing on the cake.
