Prof. Owusu Mensah Picks NPP Parliamentary Aspirants Nomination Form, Set To Contest Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency Primaries.

Professor Owusu Mensah

Saturday February 1, Prof. Francis Owusu Mensah officially picked his nomination form from the Constituency office of the NPP at Twifo Praso in the Central Region of Ghana. Prof. as he is fondly called was met with an enviable number of supporters who thronged the venue to witness the occasion.

The Constituency Chairman, Kingsford Wilson, together with the Deputy Secretary Ebenezer Oduro, Research and Elections Officer Mr. Edu Mfoafoah and a member of the council of Elders Mr. Fellaman were the officials who handed over the document to the aspirant.

Key notes given by the Chairman included the fact that picking the nomination form is not a guarantee of becoming a contestant in the primaries since the main vetting would be done on each aspirant. He advised supporters to desist from all actions that can cause the disqualification of their candidate.

Thanking the executives, Prof. Owusu Mensah admonished his supporters to pay heed to what the chairman had stressed on since he is a very law-abiding person and wants to run a very clean election, calling for maximum discipline in the campaign.

He took the opportunity to introduce himself and his indigeneity as far as Twifo Atti Morkwa is concerned, his education and journey in life, his love and preparedness to help develop the constituency and his vision for the people of the land.

Having contested on the party’s ticket in the 2012 general election, Prof took the opportunity to stress on the unity he brought to when the then structures of the party were in disarray, it was no surprise therefore that he was met with diverse groups in the party even at the picking of his nomination form.

Enforcing Vaccine On Citizens, Unconstitutional ‐ Sammy Gyamfi

The national communications officer of the biggest opposition party, the NDC, Sammuel Gyamfi has given a penny of his thought concerning the compulsory vaccination going on in the country. The government’s policy of getting every Ghanaian at the age of eighteen years and above vaccinated does not sit well with the young lawyer.

According to Sammy Gyamfi, research made has proven that the vaccinated is highly susceptible to contracting the virus than the unvaccinated ones. He goes on to argue that there are countries who record number of COVID cases twice as Ghana such as south Africa but their president, Cyril Ramaphosa, posits that there is not going to be a force vaccination in the country.

“Some countries such as South Africa and Brazil are rejecting the Vaccine, vehemently though they are recording cases in huge numbers”, says Sammy Gyamfi.

According to the NDC firebrand, no law in Ghana mandates the FDA to do emergency use authorization, the medicine must be tested and approved before being administered. So it illegal to do emergency use authorization and this proceeds to border the natural rights of Ghanaian citizens enshrined in the 1992 constitution if citizens receive the dose forcefully.

Sammy Gyamfi registered his displeasure when granting an interview at Media General’s 3fm.
