Kaduna State Government set To Shutdown More Telecom Services

Information reaching our News medium from a reliable source indicates that more BTS will be shutdown in Kaduna State which will inveriably lead to bad or network reception within the target area.

Areas to be affected are listed below through their identified Mast.

1. Kakkau in Chikun LGA (all network)
2. Barnawa in Kaduna South LGA (all network)
3. Gonin Gora in Chikun LGA (all network)
4. Ungwan Muazu in Kaduna South LGA (all network)
5. Gwamna Road Badiko in Kaduna South LGA (airtel)
6. Mando in Igabi LGA (airtel)
7. Rido in Chikun LGA (airtel and MTN)
8. Kawo in Kaduna North LGA (Airtel)
9. NDA Old Site in Kaduna North LGA (airtel)
10. Kurmin Mashi in Kaduna South LGA (airtel)
11. Kabala West Junction in Kaduna South LGA (all network)

There will be a reduction in the radius of all 2G/3G network coverage of the identified Masts to a maximum distance of at least two kilometers with total shutdown of all BTS along the Kaduna-Abuja, Kaduna-Birnin Gwari, Kaduna-Zaria, Kaduna-Jos highways and also Zaria-Kidandan-Zaria-Funtua Roads.

The Twon Ibe Opuyingibo 1, of Twon Brass Kingdom,Her Majesty Queen Dame Josephine Aruoriwo Diete-Spiff Esq was honoured by the International Centre for the Research on African Women in Nation Building and Gender Studies (ICRAWINGS) as “HERO OF GENDER ADVOCACY” for selfless and incomparable contributions towards uplifting the living standard of Women and Girl Child in Bayelsa, Nigeria and Africa at large.

The event which was held in Abuja to commemorate the 16 days activism against sexual and gender based violence according to the organization (ICRAWINGS), which is under the authority of Standtall Africa Initiative (STAi).

The Award programme was Graced by His Majesty,King Alfred Pepepreye Diete-Spiff of Twon Brass Kingdom, important dignitaries from all works of life and captains of Industry.
