John Sam Wins Real Estate Student of the Year at 2025 National Youth Mentorship Summit & Awards
In a moment of pride and inspiration, John Sam, founder of John Sam Realty, was named Real Estate Student of the Year at the prestigious 2025 National Youth Mentorship Summit & Awards, held under the theme “A Catalyst for the New Economy.”
The summit, which drew some of the most dynamic and forward-thinking minds in Ghana and across Africa, served as a platform for youth empowerment, mentorship, and celebrating exceptional achievements in various fields. Among the distinguished speakers at this year’s event were Stephen Blewett (CEO, MTN Ghana), Richie Mensah (CEO, Lynx Group Limited), Sina Kamgate(Executive Head Reatail Banking, GCB PLC), Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong(General Manager, EIB Network), Albert Prempeh Kusi(Convenor & CEO,LEC Group),Nana oye Bampoe Addo (Deputy chief of staff, Ghana), and Janet Sunkwa-Mills (CEO/co- founder of AFRIBIZ Group Limited), whose insights illuminated pathways for young leaders navigating the complexities of a rapidly evolving global economy.
John Sam’s recognition as Real Estate Student of the Year underscores not only his academic excellence but also his passion for transforming the real estate landscape in Ghana. Through his venture, John Sam Realty, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to innovation, ethical business practices, and community-focused development, values that align with the summit’s mission to foster a new generation of change-makers.

Candyman Lucas Mensah to Sponsor Central Music Awards’ New Artiste of the Year Category with GH¢5,000
Renowned Ghanaian media personality and Founder of the Central Music Awards (CMA), Mr. Candyman Lucas Mensah, has pledged GH¢5,000 in sponsorship for the New Artiste of the Year category at the 15th Central Music Awards.

Mr. Mensah made the announcement during the 15th CMA Seminar held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Samrit Hotel in Cape Coast ahead of the 15th Anniversary Celebration of the prestigious Central Music Awards.
Speaking on the topic, “From an Idea to a Movement: The CMA Journey at 15,” Mr. Mensah reflected on the experiences that led to the establishment of the Central Music Awards, highlighting the challenges, achievements and lessons from the awards’ 15-year journey.
He also outlined his vision for the continued growth of the awards scheme, particularly its role in identifying, nurturing and promoting emerging musical talents from the Central Region to compete at higher levels.
Announcing the sponsorship, Mr. Mensah said his contribution was driven by his commitment to supporting emerging artistes and creating opportunities for young talents within the region.
The sponsorship will support the New Artiste of the Year category as part of activities marking the 15th anniversary of the Central Music Awards.
The seminar, held under the theme “Celebrating the Journey, Taking Stock, Building Tomorrow,”brought together musicians, artiste managers, media personalities, bloggers, content creators, event organisers and other key stakeholders in the creative industry from across the Central Region’s 22 districts.
The programme featured presentations by creative industry professionals and academics, including Dr. Margaret Delali Numekevor, Lecturer at the Department of Music and Dance, University of Cape Coast, and Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, former Chairperson of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Central Region.
The seminar was moderated by Mr. Bismark Botchwey, Deputy Communications Executive at Heritage Promotions.
The annual CMA seminar provides a platform for creatives to gain knowledge and practical insights into developing their craft, strengthening their brands, building professional networks and promoting their work to meet international standards.
