Etse Sparrow, a rising star in Ghana’s vibrant music scene, is set to captivate audiences at the upcoming Diaspora Dance & Arts Festival on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the Accra Mall. Known for his dynamic fusion of Afrobeat and Hiplife, Sparrow’s performance promises to be a highlight of the event, which celebrates the intersection of arts, culture, and heritage.

The Diaspora Dance & Arts Festival will feature two engaging sessions. Arts Exhibition (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Local and international artists will showcase a diverse array of paintings, sculptures, and other creative works, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Ghana and the African diaspora.
Dance & Performances (6:00 PM – Midnight), The evening session will feature live music and dance performances, including Etse Sparrow’s anticipated set. He will share the stage with other notable acts, ensuring a night of electrifying entertainment.

Born Etse Gbelewu Innocent, Sparrow’s journey into music began at 17 in Abor, Volta Region. Rooted in Ghanaian traditions and inspired by the rhythms of Afrobeat, Sparrow has become known for his lyrical storytelling and captivating stage presence. He balances his contemporary sound with deep cultural influences, making his music resonate with audiences at home and abroad.

Etse Sparrow’s growing popularity is also fueled by his active engagement on social media. His TikTok account, @etse.sparrow, is a platform where he shares snippets of his performances, collaborations, and behind-the-scenes moments.

Gospel Musician Salome Nketia Announces Maiden Edition of ‘Dwell with Salome Nketia’

Seasoned gospel musician Salome Nketia has announced the maiden edition of her annual gospel event, “Dwell with Salome Nketia,” scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

The event, which marks a new chapter in Nketia’s decade long journey in gospel music, will be held under the theme “Celebrating the Faithfulness of God.”

Salome announced the event in a post on her official Facebook page, describing it as her first major event after 10 years of ministry in the gospel music industry.

The maiden edition is expected to bring together celebrated gospel musicians and worshippers for a time of praise, worship and spiritual reflection.

According to the musician, additional details, including the full list of artistes billed to perform, will be announced in due course.
