We are planning a UK tour after Sapele to the world concert in Ghana – Comedian Small Pitah discloses

Published

Comedian Small Pitah has big plans for the global stage, revealing that his successful Sapele to the World concert in Ghana will be followed by an exciting UK tour. The comedian, known for his captivating stage presence and unique comedic style, disclosed the news during a recent appearance on the ClassXtra show in Class91.3fm, where he spoke with Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss over the weekend.

Small Pitah shared that the goal of the Sapele to the World concert is to promote Sapele, a vibrant town in Delta State, Nigeria, to a global audience in a way similar to how Ghana exports its renowned cocoa. He aims to use comedy as a bridge to introduce Sapele’s rich culture, talent, and history to the world. This comes as a bold move to showcase the town’s entertainment potential beyond its borders, much like the proud export of cocoa from Ghana that reaches international markets.

Located in the heart of the Urhobo nation, Sapele is a culturally diverse town and one of the Local Government Areas of Delta State, Nigeria. Over time, the town has become an urban hub, incorporating various townships and villages such as Amukpe, Oviri, and Jesse. Home to the indigenous Okpe people, Sapele is a blend of traditional and modern influences, making it an ideal backdrop for a comedy event that bridges both local and global audiences.

The “Sapele to the World concert” will feature a star studded lineup of comedy acts, with comedian Small Pitah himself leading the show. Comedians set to grace the stage include popular names like Gehgeh, Mc Pashum (Titus of Flatmates), Pararan Mocknews, Mc Sydney, Comedian Warris, DKB, Khemikal, Jacinta, Talk Plenty, Cartoonboy, Funny Professor, Clever Dove, Shosko V, and many others. The event promises to be a blend of humor, culture, and unity, highlighting the talent that the Nigerian comedy scene has to offer.

Additionally, the event will be hosted by two well-known MCs, Mc Okokobioko and Mc Xten, ensuring that the audience has a memorable experience throughout the night. The concert will take place at Palma Hotel, Spintex, Ghana, and attendees can secure their tickets by dialing *714*11*38#.

Far from being a newcomer, Putogo’s journey in comedy spans several years of consistent work across Ghana’s stand-up circuit. He has steadily built his name through numerous live performances, comedy showcases, and collaborations with well-known comedians. Over time, he has developed a style rooted in relatability, clever storytelling, and sharp observations of everyday life, elements that have become the backbone of the Putogo brand.

The Michael Blackson show served as yet another major platform where Putogo demonstrated his growth and maturity as a performer. Sharing space on such a high-profile stage highlighted not only his experience but also his ability to connect with diverse audiences. His performance reflected confidence earned through years of honing his craft, rather than novelty, and positioned him as one of the comics capable of holding his own on premium comedy stages.

Putogo closed out 2025 with a strong run of performances that further cemented his relevance. On December 20, he performed at Greetings From Abroad, hosted by OB, adding to his growing list of notable appearances. Just days later, on December 26, he took part in the closing night of 1036 Laughs by Chatter House, where he once again delivered a solid set that resonated with the crowd. These back-to-back performances showcased his consistency and versatility as a live performer.

Beyond the laughs, the Putogo brand is defined by authenticity and depth. His comedy reflects lived experiences, social commentary, and moments of self-reflection, all delivered with humor that feels both familiar and refreshing. This approach has helped him build a loyal audience and respect within the comedy community.
