African Dance Rhythms turned the 2026 Sunon Asogli Chinese New Year Celebration in Kpone into an unforgettable cultural spectacle, delivering a performance that instantly became the heartbeat of the night. With powerful drum patterns, sharp choreography and commanding stage presence, the troupe captivated the audience from start to finish, earning thunderous applause from dignitaries and guests alike.

In a gathering graced by Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Agbogbomefia of Asogli Togbe Afede XIV, diplomatic representatives and traditional leaders, it was culture bold, loud and unapologetically Ghanaian that took centre stage.

Organized by Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited, the event blended the spirit of the Chinese Spring Festival with the rich rhythms of Africa, but it was the explosive performance by African Dance Rhythms that truly defined the celebration.
