Jesus Laugh Too, A Night of comedy, Music and Arts

The much anticipated comedy event, Jesus Laugh 2024, hosted by the hilarious and ever-charismatic Tutu Marven, was a massive success, bringing together laughter, joy, and a sense of community like never before. Held at the Triumphant Outreach Ministries International and Joshua Generation, located at Teshie Point Six, the event was an unforgettable celebration of faith, humor, and unity.

The venue was packed, with an even larger turnout than the previous year, showing significant growth and a deepening love for this one-of-a-kind event. The warm atmosphere buzzed with excitement as comedy lovers gathered for a night that promised an outpouring of laughter and praise. Thanks to the unwavering support of the church Triumphant Outreach Ministries, this was the second year they graciously hosted the event, creating an environment that truly reflected the spirit of togetherness.

The show kicked off promptly at 6:00 PM, with the audience eager to enjoy an evening filled with some of the best comedic acts in the industry. The lineup was nothing short of stellar. Comedians Jerry, K.a.o, Mr Busymouth, Smile, and PN Lawson delivered top-notch performances, bringing the crowd to tears with their side-splitting jokes, anecdotes, and witty observations. Each comedian added their unique flavor, taking the audience on a rollercoaster of laughter that had everyone clapping, cheering, and begging for more.

Not only did the night feature remarkable comedians, but also incredible poets who added a special touch to the event. Baby Poet and Dee Wordz captivated the audience with their spoken word performances, blending humor and profound reflections on life, faith, and the journey of spiritual growth. Their words resonated deeply with all who were in attendance, leaving an unforgettable impression.

Pastor Vincent Appiah also gave a short exhortation about the birth of Jesus Christ to highlight the caption of the event Jesus laughs too.

The atmosphere was further heightened by the melodic sounds of Israel, the talented saxophonist, whose soulful music filled the air, adding a layer of tranquility and celebration to the vibrant event. His performance was the perfect complement to the comedic and poetic acts, creating a harmonious balance between joy and reflection.

A special shoutout goes to the GDA dancers, whose energetic and graceful performances kept the energy high and the audience engaged throughout the night. Their routines, infused with infectious enthusiasm, brought a dynamic layer to the event, blending movement with music and laughter.

One of the most significant highlights of the night was the record-breaking turnout. Compared to 2023, Jesus Laugh 2024 saw an even larger crowd, a testament to the growing love for this beautiful gathering. The crowd responded enthusiastically to every performance, with the laughter echoing throughout the venue. It was clear that the event was more than just a comedy show; it was a celebration of community, faith, and the power of joy.

Stay Away From Hard Drugs – Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Advices Young Musicians

A group of young musicians from Sunyani, known as the Pure Heart Movement(PHM),led by by Starboy Okra Tom, paid a courtesy visit to the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II to discuss their upcoming community initiatives and seek his blessings.

During the meeting, the group expressed their commitment to supporting odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II development agenda by participating in communal labor. They announced plans to organize a cleanup exercise,repaint some of the pavements in the principal streets,and decorate flower beds along the stretch from Sunyani Senior High School (SUSEC) to the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).Additionally, they revealed that they had procured dustbins to be placed at strategic locations to help maintain cleanliness in the township.

The Paramount Chief of Sunyani Traditional Area odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II , was grateful for their initiative, commended the group for their dedication to community development.

He advised them to stay away from hard drugs, emphasizing that substance abuse could ruin their musical talents.Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II also encouraged them to take education seriously, learn some soft skills, noting that knowledge is essential even in the music industry. He assured them of his continuous support, stating that his doors are always open to them.

Pure Heart Movement sought the odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II permission to use his image to promote their upcoming musical concert,scheduled for May 31, 2025, in Sunyani.
