Darwin Nunez Is Heading To Liverpool
Benfica have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Liverpool over the sale of Darwin Nunez.
Releasing a statement on their website, Benfica confirmed the Uruguay striker will head to Anfield for a fee of £64million, with a further £21.4m in potential add-ons.
Nunez signed for Benfica in 2020 from Spanish second tier side Almeria and scored 45 goals in 85 games, 61 of those starts, for the Primeira Liga club in all competitions.
The club also notified that finalising the deal will now depend on the agreement of personal terms between Nunez, his representatives and Liverpool.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a prolific 2021-22 season, finding the net 34 times in 41 games in all competitions.

Tyrell Malacia Signs United
Manchester United confirmed that Tyrell Malacia has joined the club, signing a contract until June 2026, with the option to extend for a further year.
The Dutch defender made 136 career appearances for Feyenoord and has represented his country at every level from the Under-16s to the senior team, with five full international caps to his name.
Tyrell Malacia said: “It’s an incredible feeling to have joined Manchester United. This is a new chapter for me, a new league with new team-mates and a tremendous manager [Erik ten Hag] leading us.
“I know from playing against his teams in the Eredivisie, the qualities that he has and what he demands of his players.
“Whilst I know that I am still young and will continue to develop, I can promise the United fans that I will leave everything on the pitch every time I pull on the red shirt. I’ll always be thankful to Feyenoord for all they have given to me and my family.
