Their remarkable performance earned them recognition at the awards ceremony, where each student received a medal, citation, trunk, mattress and a GH¢1,000 cash prize in recognition of their academic excellence.

Nora Constance Mbadila, a student of Grassland International School, was among the three students who recorded aggregate 8 to emerge as an overall best student in the Odoben Circuits.

Her performance represents a significant achievement for Grassland International School and highlights the important role schools play in providing young people with the academic foundation and encouragement needed to excel.

Nora’s recognition also places her among a group of students whose achievements can motivate other pupils within and beyond their schools to take their studies seriously.

“This recognition means a lot to me because it shows that the hard work and effort I put into my education have been recognised. I am grateful to Serasa Foundation, my teachers, my parents and everyone who supported me. I want other students to know that they should not give up when their studies become difficult. They should remain focused, work hard and believe in themselves.”

“To those coming after us, I will advise you to start working hard from today. Listen to your teachers, respect your parents, manage your time well and never be afraid to ask questions when you do not understand something.” — she said.

Audrine Asiedu Botwey, also an aggregate 8 student, represented Odoben Islamic School among the overall best performers.

Her achievement, alongside that of her schoolmate Sharifa Nafiw Abdul, means Odoben Islamic School produced two of the three students who jointly emerged as the Best Overall Students in the Odoben Circuits.

The double recognition is a notable achievement for the school and demonstrates the academic potential of its students.

According Audrine“I feel very happy and proud to receive this recognition. It has motivated me to believe that I can achieve even greater things if I continue to work hard. I am grateful to my teachers, parents and everyone who encouraged me throughout my education.”

Audrine also urged students who may not have achieved the results they expected to remain determined.

“My advice to other students is that one examination should not determine your future. If you do not get the result you expected, learn from it and work harder. Believe in yourself and keep moving forward.”

With an aggregate 8, Sharifa demonstrated a high level of academic performance and earned recognition alongside Nora and Audrine.

“I am very grateful for this award because it has made me feel that my efforts in school are appreciated. The recognition has encouraged me to set higher goals for myself. I want to continue working hard and make my parents, teachers and community proud.”
