RT. Hon. Alban Bagbin Styled in Traditional Kente in Parliamentary Sitting
Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin
Ghana’s speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin goes all traditional today at the 1st sitting of the 2nd season of the 8th Parliament of Ghana.
According to Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin he will only wear his assigned cloak for only ceremonial occasions at the Parliament but will mostly be seen in local outfits on normal sitting.
Again, he added that, all Honourable Members should henceforth become a unique by wearing Made in Ghana product that we must showcase and market to the world as a brand and to set it apart from the colonial legacies of the British system.
“I am convinced that Ghanaians define representation of the people to include representation of the full identity of the Ghanaian – i. e. Culture, Tradition and more importantly their dress code!”
