Putogo Moses, popularly known by his brand name Putogo, once again proved his place in Ghana’s comedy hierarchy with a memorable performance at Michael Blackson’s show “I Deported Myself” Comedy Special. Performing on a stage associated with one of the most recognized Ghanaian comedians on the global scene, Putogo delivered a confident and well-structured set that drew solid laughs and strong audience engagement. His stage presence and command of timing made his performance one of the notable moments of the night, reinforcing his reputation as a seasoned and dependable act. His clever and unique style of comedy has earned him the title “King of Puns”, a name that speaks to his talent for wordplay and witty humor.

Far from being a newcomer, Putogo’s journey in comedy spans several years of consistent work across Ghana’s stand-up circuit. He has steadily built his name through numerous live performances, comedy showcases, and collaborations with well-known comedians. Over time, he has developed a style rooted in relatability, clever storytelling, and sharp observations of everyday life, elements that have become the backbone of the Putogo brand.

The Michael Blackson show served as yet another major platform where Putogo demonstrated his growth and maturity as a performer. Sharing space on such a high-profile stage highlighted not only his experience but also his ability to connect with diverse audiences. His performance reflected confidence earned through years of honing his craft, rather than novelty, and positioned him as one of the comics capable of holding his own on premium comedy stages.

Putogo closed out 2025 with a strong run of performances that further cemented his relevance. On December 20, he performed at Greetings From Abroad, hosted by OB, adding to his growing list of notable appearances. Just days later, on December 26, he took part in the closing night of 1036 Laughs by Chatter House, where he once again delivered a solid set that resonated with the crowd. These back-to-back performances showcased his consistency and versatility as a live performer.

Beyond the laughs, the Putogo brand is defined by authenticity and depth. His comedy reflects lived experiences, social commentary, and moments of self-reflection, all delivered with humor that feels both familiar and refreshing. This approach has helped him build a loyal audience and respect within the comedy community.
