In the annals of Nigeria’s history, certain leaders leave an indelible mark on the nation’s journey toward greatness. His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, stands tall among such figures. His unwavering commitment to national development and democratic consolidation has earned him widespread recognition as the Architect of Nigeria’s Progress.

No wonder the Tinubu Support Organization, TSO Worldwide, under its visionary Founder and Director-General, Junior Jagaban Honourable Aminu Suleiman are unrelenting in championing the continuity of this Administration beyond 2027!

President Tinubu represents a powerful symbol of resilience, strategic leadership, dedication to public service. His political journey began from modest beginnings, rose steadily to the highest office in the land, continues to inspire millions of Nigerians, particularly young people who aspire to contribute positively to the growth of their communities and the nation at large.

Through a leadership style rooted in vision, courage, and inclusiveness, President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated his ability to unite diverse interests and mobilize collective energy for national advancement. His administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda has provided a clear direction for economic revitalization, institutional strengthening, and grassroots driven development across the country.

President Tinubu’s approach to governance reflects a deep understanding of Nigeria’s diversity and the need for national cohesion. As Jagaban Borgu Kingdom and Asiwaju of Lagos, he has long championed the values of dialogue, collaboration, and inclusive leadership. By engaging leaders across political, regional, and ethnic divides, he continues to foster unity and reinforce a shared sense of national purpose among Nigerians.

As Nigeria navigates the opportunities and challenges of the twenty first century, the Renewed Hope Agenda remains a guiding framework for sustainable development and national transformation. From infrastructure renewal to economic reforms, security strengthening to agricultural productivity, and from education to healthcare improvement, the administration has continued to pursue policies aimed at repositioning Nigeria for long term stability and prosperity.

Under President Tinubu’s leadership, bold reforms have been initiated to address structural challenges and unlock the country’s vast economic potential. His administration has demonstrated a firm commitment to strengthening institutions, improving economic management, stabilizing the foreign exchange environment, expanding agricultural output, and improving the quality of life for ordinary Nigerians.

Equally significant is President Tinubu’s dedication to strengthening Nigeria’s democracy. He has remained a strong advocate of inclusive governance, encouraging dialogue, consensus building, and mutual understanding among Nigeria’s many communities. Through these efforts, his administration continues to reinforce democratic values and promote peaceful coexistence across the federation.

President Tinubu’s leadership has repeatedly shown that Nigeria’s diversity is not a weakness but a powerful asset. By harnessing this diversity through inclusive policies and national engagement, the administration continues to build a stronger and more united nation.

As the Architect of Nigeria’s Progress, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains steadfast in his pursuit of a prosperous, united, and forward looking Nigeria. His leadership reflects the enduring power of vision, determination, and service to the people. President Tinubu’s legacy is steadily taking shape as one defined by courage, reform, and national transformation.

The impact of his leadership will continue to resonate for generations as Nigeria advances on the path of progress and renewed national confidence.

As I have often maintained, “the growing support for His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, across communities and among patriotic Nigerians reflects a deep appreciation of his courageous reforms and his unwavering commitment to national development. With the steady progress already being recorded under the Renewed Hope Agenda, the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stands increasingly reassured as Nigerians continue to rally behind a leader whose vision is firmly anchored on unity, stability, and lasting prosperity.”

Looking ahead to the future, it is increasingly clear that the momentum behind the Renewed Hope Agenda is only gaining strength. Across communities, political structures, and among the nation’s vibrant youth population, there is a growing consensus that the reforms and transformative policies initiated under President Tinubu must be consolidated beyond the present term.

As Nigeria continues on this path of recovery and renewal, the call for continuity in leadership is becoming louder, reinforcing the belief that the re election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 will serve as a decisive step toward securing lasting prosperity, national unity, and sustainable development for generations to come.

Furthermore, President Tinubu’s emphasis on empowering youth and women has led to increased participation of these groups in national development, contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society.

The administration’s efforts to address insecurity and promote peace have also yielded positive results, creating a more stable environment for economic growth and investment.

With these achievements, Nigerians are optimistic about the future, and the Renewed Hope Agenda continues to inspire confidence in the nation’s potential for greatness.

LAGOS STATE MINISTRY OF HEALTH CONCLUDES INVESTIGATION INTO PATIENT EXPERIENCE INCIDENT AT RANDLE GENERAL HOSPITAL

Published

on

The Lagos State Ministry of Health has concluded its investigation into a patient experience incident reported on social media on 31 August 2026 by Mrs. Oshodi, involving her daughter who was seeking care at Randle General Hospital.

The investigation established that the patient, Alimat Oshodi, is indeed 21 years old and not 13 as indicated by her mother, presented at the Hospital’s Mother and Child Centre on 4 August 2026 as an emergency case requiring immediate medical intervention. She received lifesaving emergency care under the Comprehensive Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care (CEmONC) program at no cost to her family and was discharged on 11 August 2026. The initial value of the emergency care provided was ₦75,950 free of charge.

Following her discharge, the patient returned to the Hospital on 27 August 2026 for follow-up care and investigations. In response to her ongoing financial constraints, the Hospital’s Social Welfare Unit provided ₦5,000 on 28 August and an additional ₦13,000 on 31 August, totaling ₦18,000, towards subsequent investigations. The patient contributed ₦10,000 towards the subsequent care, while the total value of government assistance provided to date was ₦93,950.

The subsequent discussion concerning a POS transaction arose after the patient sought a refund of the ₦13,000 already paid on her behalf by the Hospital Welfare Fund, stating that an NGO was now willing to cover the cost. She was informed that Social Welfare payments could not be refunded at the Paypoint in accordance with established procedure.

The Ministry has also established that Lagos State’s social health protection mechanisms were applied in this case to ensure that financial constraints did not prevent access to necessary life-saving care. These social health protection mechanisms include Ilera Eko, the State’s social health insurance program which is provided free to indigent patients on the equity fund and to the rest of the public at subsidized rates; hospital-based Social Welfare support which are funds set apart by each General Hospital to cater for patients who require emergency care and are unable to afford it at the time; and the CEmONC program, which provides emergency obstetric and newborn care for eligible vulnerable patients courtesy of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

The Ministry is constantly improving efficient payment processes in all our public hospitals through the roll out of the Smart Health Information Platform (SHIP) and conducting regular audits of fee collection practices across public health facilities.

This investigation has established the facts surrounding the incident and confirms that the State’s social health protection mechanisms work seamlessly and, in this case, provide timely support at no cost to the patient when she required emergency care to the tune of ₦93,950. This is contrary to the message implied in the social media post, that a Lagos State Ministry of Health Government General Hospital was trying to delay access to care and extort funds from a vulnerable patient.
