Sensational Gospel Musician Adeline Baidoo Appointed As A Lecturer At Accra Technical University.

Adeline Baidoo, one of the nation’s darling worshippers and the mainly awarded Gospel play-act from the significant locality, has been appointed as a Lecturer at Accra Technical University.

Adeline, who is a representative paradigm of “Grass to Grace”, has attributed her present upliftment to the blessings of God. She has every opportunity to improve her existence and the polite society through her talent and skills.

In a decade, Adeline has skilled not quite one thousand folks in beadmaking and clothing designs. Last year, she was appointed as the Deputy Director of Education and Training for the United Nations Youth Association Ghana. 

Aside from putting out prodigious musical performances every week across the nation, she has made do to attain an elevated height in academic circles and is now a lecturer in the fashion department at the Accra Technical University, teaching Fashion and Textiles History. Below are the qualifications of the one-time Gospel Artiste for the Central Music Awards.

Diploma in Competency-base training

B.A (Art Education: Textiles and Jewellery)

 Master of Philosophy in Arts and Culture (Thesis in Jewellery)

 PhD in Arts and Culture.

With the above credentials, musicians are supposed to be motivated to attain instructor height at whatever time opportunities come. These will help out in contributing to public enlargement and the course of decision making.

Adeline has over again expressed her thankfulness to her management, fans across Ghana and abroad, the clergy, and all the media acquaintances who supported her at the beginning of her ministry.

Accra Metropolitan University awards 20 full scholarships to Ghana National Fire Service

In a trailblazing move to enhance public service education and professional development, Accra Metropolitan University (Accra Met) has awarded 20 full tuition scholarships to personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS). This historic gesture marks the first time a university has extended such support to the Fire Service.

The announcement was made by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mrs Goski Alabi, during a strategic meeting between the leadership of GNFS and Accra Met at the GNFS Headquarters.

Prof. Mrs Alabi stated that the scholarships reflect the university’s commitment to public service and lifelong learning.

“We are proud to support the Ghana National Fire Service through these full scholarships. As the first open university to operate primarily online, we’re making education more inclusive and adaptable for professionals across all sectors,” she said.

Accra Met is also considering special tuition discounts for future batches of Fire Service personnel, reaffirming its long-term commitment to this collaboration.
Chief Fire Officer, Madam Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong, expressed excitement over the development.

“This is a significant milestone for the Service. It’s the first time a university has made such a generous offer, and it reflects the growing recognition of the importance of fire safety and professional training,” she said.

Top-ranking GNFS officers present included DCFO James Owusu-Agyei (Director of Rural Fires), DCFO Heroine Sekyere Boakye (Director of Logistics), DCFO Frances Rockson (Director of Technical Services), DCFO Mark Brako-Appiah (Director of Finance), DCFO Doris Lamptey (Director of Welfare), and DCFO James O. Y. Kwateng (Director of Legal), among others.

As the first open university in Ghana and the second in the West Accra region, Accra Met stands out for its accessible and innovative approach to education. With 80% of its programmes delivered online, the university offers flexible learning options, supported by a rich e-library of over 30,000 digital resources.

Accra Met offers a range of programmes, including an accounting curriculum recognised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA). Its PhD programmes are also gaining recognition for their accessible and student-friendly delivery.
