Hon. Adjei Domson To Establish A Senior High School At Breman Bedum

Honourable Emmanuel Adjei Domson – NPP Parliamentary Candidate – Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency

The Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Adjei Domson, on Sunday, 23rd August, 2020 paid courtesy calls on Chiefs, Elders and inhabitants of Breman Bedum township where he officially introduced himself to them. 

When addressing the good people of Breman Bedum township, Hon. Adjei Domson gave a brief review of some of his major developmental projects he saw to their construction during his tenure in office as DCE which gave the community a facelift. These included the construction of all Bedum town roads and the building of classroom blocks for Bedum basic schools. 

As part of Honourable Adjei Domson’s achievements in the district during his tenure in office as DCE, it’s on records that he built numerous schools in several communities within the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District.

These include the establishment of Breman Brakwa SHTS in 2006, the building of classroom blocks for basic and senior high schools in Buame Nkwanta, Anhwiam, Sowutuom, Fosuansa, Jambra, Amanbete, Agona Odoben, Breman Asikuma, Breman Brakwa, Kokoso, Nankese, Mantse, Yenkukwaa, Aboukwa, Tweredua among several villages within the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district. 

Hon. Adjei Domson assured the Chiefs, elders and opinion leaders that, he will establish a senior high school for the good people of Breman Bedum when elected into office as the next Member of Parliament. 

He explained that, Breman Bedum as a town is gradually developing and he siting a senior high school in the town will speed up development in the town and it’s villages.

Honourable Adjei Domson justified his promise by saying, if he was able to establish Breman Brakwa Senior High School In 2006 when he was the DCE, then the good people of Bedum should have hope in him that he will fulfill his promises to them and Breman Jambra when elected as the next Member of Parliament for the constituency. 

He also assured the good people of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency that, he will help establish a Television Station to provide effective media and communication services to inhabitants in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District when elected as the next Member of Parliament.

Honorable Adjei Domson was emphatic that, it was during his tenure in office as DCE that he contributed for making it possible for the district to own a radio station which is providing effective communication within the district.

Honourable Adjei Domson when concluding his message pleaded with citizens of Bedum to vote massively for him and President Akufo-Addo for the betterment of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency. 

According to Hon. Adjei Domson, his vision is to expand the frontiers of the district to municipality level with increased access to cutting edge development of the district and restore the dwindling fortunes, empower the inhabitants of the district and bring direct foreign investment to the district. 

The event saw in attendance former and current constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, polling station executives, members of AOB-NPP Loyal Ladies and Staunch Queens as well as party faithfuls.

In a remarkable and memorable ceremony held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), the Founder of Accra Metropolitan University, Prof. Joshua Alabi, was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in recognition of his outstanding contributions to higher education, transformational leadership, and national development.

During his acceptance address, Prof. Alabi reflected on his journey with UPSA—how he encountered the university at a modest state and led its transformation into the world-class institution it is today. He shared profound words that resonated deeply with the audience:
“Vision must meet integrity; hard work must meet teamwork.”
According to him, these guiding principles shaped the culture, strategy, and achievements of UPSA during his tenure and continue to serve as pillars for sustainable growth in any institution.

Prof. Alabi also expressed gratitude to the governing council, faculty, alumni, and students whose collective efforts fueled the university’s historic rise. He further dedicated the honor to all educational leaders committed to innovation, ethical leadership, and youth development.

As Founder of Accra Metropolitan University, Prof. Alabi’s recognition at UPSA serves not only as a personal achievement but also as a national acknowledgment of his decades-long commitment to quality education, good governance, and transformational leadership in Ghana and across Africa.
