Cola Nut is a seed of a tall evergreen tree that grows in West Africa.Kola trees are also harvested in the West Indians, tropical areas of South America and in Asia. Each of the fruit by the tree contains several fleshy red or white Kola nut.

They are shaped like horse chestnut and usually one and Half Half to 2 inches across at the widest part. Kola nuts are used in making soft drink and medicines. They contain small amounts of stimulants caffeine and theobromine. Many Africans chew these nuts and they have their reasons.

They call them guru ,goora and bissey nuts.
