Asikuma Odoben Brakwa NDC Deputy Constituency Organizer Defect To NPP
Deputy Constituency Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, Mr Eric Saah has resigned from post and defected to join the NPP.
On Monday, 2nd November, 2020 Mr. Eric Saah issued an official letter to the chairman of the New Patriotic Party in AOB stating his reasons of resigning from his position as Deputy Constituency Organizer of the NDC to join the NPP.
According to Mr. Eric Saah, his mentor is Hon. Eric Kwesi Taylor, the former NDC Parliamentary Aspirant who defected to join the NPP last week and if his mentor has left the party then he is following him to the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Mr Saah also indicated that, he is leaving the NDC together with his wife who also occupies a position as Branch Women’s organizer at Breman Benin.
The official resignation and defection letter by Mr. Eric Saah, AOB-NDC Deputy Organizer is attached below:
RESIGNATION FROM POSITION AS DEPUTY CONSTITUENCY ORGANIZER/DEFECTION TO NPP
I write to inform you officially that I have lost interest in the NDC Party and therefore tender my letter of resignation from the party.
The reason is that, Hon. Eric Taylor fought and raised the NDC Party from total collapse in 2017 and brought it to present stage. Hon. Taylor encourages me and brought me from membership position to my present position as the Deputy Constituency Organizer.
Therefore, if this mentor is leaving the party following unnecessary insults and assaults then I am nowhere to be recognized in the party anymore.
From my observation, since with Hon. Taylor, he possesses enviable qualities which is worth nothing and emulated. In order not for me to lose these qualities, I have decided to follow my Mentor to join the NPP accordingly.
Please note that I am leaving with my wife, Sarah Annan who is serving as a Branch Women’s Organizer at Benin.
