ASIKUMA ODOBEN BRAKWA CONSTITUENCY.
PRESS RELEASE…
PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES JUNE 2020.
ADVISE FROM OHENEBA BRUCE DOMPSON. ( CONSTITUENCY CHAIRMAN). TO ALL THE SIX (6) PARLIAMENTARY ASPIRANTS.
LET THE GOOD NAME OF NPP MATTER TO YOU.
Dear Parliamentary Aspirants and collegues of the Kukrudites family, once again time has come to elect parliamentary aspirant who will steer the affairs of our great party in Our Constituency for the next four (4) years.
Our party ( NPP) has demonstrated the capacity to transform our dear country’s democratic, socio- economic, culture and industrial structures to bring about genuine National development.
The overwhelming endorsement of our great party in 2016 elections to take the reign and govern , doesn’t only underscore how popular our party is but rather the confidence the trust that the good people of Ghana have in our great party to lead them into genuine development so let the good name of the NPP matter to you.
ASIKUMA ODOBEN BRAKWA CONSTITUENCY TOWARDS PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE. BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER JUNE 2020 PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES. .
On behalf of the Constituency executives, we are ready to defend and protect the unity of the forthcoming Parliamentary Primaries. A house or family divided against itself cannot stand. That house cannot stand to fight a common enemy or opponent. That house cannot stand to protect its ideas. That house cannot stand to potray its beauty and essence. The need for unity at the time our party is in power cannot be overemphasized. It behoves all Parliamentary aspirants, party members to unite behind our party.
Unity within our party is enhanced by the way we relate with one another . Every party member has a special and significant role to perform in the pursuit of the corporate and organizational goals of the party. There is therefore the need to respect every individual and appreciate our respective contributions to the stability and growth of our party.
Within our party’s constitution are provisions for free speech, participation and access. Those provisions are to ensure fairness within an institutional framework of rule of law. That constitutional arrangement doesn’t give the parliamentary aspirant and his supporters ammunition to combat each other nor creates grounds for disrespect and arrogance. We should therefore eschew negative tendencies including the use of abusive language, insinuation, gossiping and foulmouth. These negative behaviours cannot enhance PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE.
I am grateful to the Constituency Parliamentary Elections Committee chaired by Mr Eduful Annan, Mr Frederick Asamoah Boateng , the Constituency secretary,. Mr Lawrence Arthur Research and elections officer and Madam Sylvia who were in charge of selling and receiving of Nomination forms.
At the close of the Nomination forms Thursday 20/ 02 / 2020 the following aspirants have filed their nominations to contest for the forthcoming Parliamentary Primaries in ASIKUMA ODOBEN BRAKWA CONSTITUENCY.
