Peter Kofi Thompson popularly known by his stage name as Lhipton is a Ghanaian, Cape Coast based Reggae//Dancehall Artiste.

Lhipton is the last born to an Ewe mother(Comfort Dziwornu) and a Fante father(Thomas Kofi Thompson).Born and raised in Cape Coast. Lhipton is also known as Cape Coast Bob Marley.

He began his basic school education at Ansadi Day Care & Kindergarten, proceeded  to Christ Church Anglican, Anhwiam D/A School, Seventh Day Adventist Basic School,then completed his Junior cycle education at St. Nicholas Anglican. He completed his secondary education at Efutu Senior High School.

Lhipton begun his music journey early 2019 thus 8 months after he completed Senior High School in 2018. Suprisenly he is new in the music game but rising at a faster pace.

With his first song #Frenemies being nominated in the Best Reggae Song Of The Year Category of Central Music Awards(CMA19). Showed how good and fast he’s rising. This got him many collaborations.

His Song #Live Up, which was released on 30th November 2019, got him more attention,more love and more fans from the street.

And his newly released song #Give Thanks making waves in his Region and beyond,shows he is indeed the youngest and the baddest in the music game(reggae//dancehall genre)
